Nicole Weatherwax

Nicole Weatherwax is a first year PhD student in the history department at the University of Connecticut with a focus on U.S. history. She graduated with a BA from The Evergreen State College. Her main research interest is the history of race in sports, which she examines with a critical analysis of anti-black imagery and racist narratives to challenge American contemporary memories of both sports and the athletes themselves.
