Biography: I was born and raised in rural Wisconsin and moved to St Cloud, MN where I graduated with a B.A. in History from St Cloud State University in 2012. As an undergraduate, I worked towards a Social Studies education degree, but during the last two years of my undergraduate, a career in academic History became my primary focus. I wrote my senior thesis on the New Left and the 1960s student protest movement’s struggle against ageism in the U.S.. Broadly speaking, I research twentieth-century U.S. Political History, but I dabble in film, music, and other forms of popular culture. The Fall of 2013 sees the beginning of course work for my M.A.. My adviser is Eduardo Canedo.
